Thinking Well-Being of Society from an Environmental View

Environmental problems are interlinked with social and economic problems in a complex manner, and diverse stakeholders exist. In order to solve environmental problems, therefore, it is necessary to properly understand the mechanisms causing problems and to coordinate for consensus building among stakeholders in different positions. Based on the “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, international goals for 2030, this laboratory conducts survey and research on social systems and policies focusing on environmental problems by cross-sectoral approaches.
