Urban Planning Laboratory conducts practical research and educational activities to develop new interrelated systems of city-environment-space. We set “urban planning” as the core and go across the border of professional fields. Our fields include a variety of themes from micro to macro scales, such as urban facilities, urban development projects, regional planning, restoration after disaster, area management, citizen participation and financial systems. We aim to realize beautiful and sustainable cities, where the local identities are respected and of which citizens feel proud.
