Architecture deals with various scale of spaces ranging from most intimate interior spaces and furniture to cities and society. It is essential to train one’s eyes to have broad views over surrounding environments, and to make careful and critical observations. Also, in Architectural Space Design Laboratory, referring to historical and local examples and technologies, we study and categorize the various elements that architecture consists of, in order to develop design vocabulary. The architectural thinking which considers social problems four-dimensionally (time and space) becomes more crucial in the future. The Lab. aims to search for potential for better spatial design by sharing research findings and thinking through making.
