Designing Architecture to Connect People with Natural and Social Environments

Our lives are closely intertwined with ever-changing natural and social environments. In Architectural Design and Information Systems Laboratory, we carefully perceive information delivered by various environments and visualize it using digital tools as well as various methods to evoke creative thinking. Furthermore, we investigate the architectural design as a tool with “Intention, Knowledge, Method and Technology,” which finds hidden problems and proposes specific solutions. The laboratory also practices Active-learning system to understand the importance of “We are here now” by communication through the e-learning system (Web Learning Studio) and ICT that enable “anyone” to participate at “anytime and anywhere.”
